In 1993, while diving off Maine’s coast during the height of the urchin diving boom, Gary Gray made the leap from experienced diver to instructor. He trained at Capt. Slate’s Scuba Adventures in Key Largo, Florida, earning his YMCA certification—then went on to teach for SSI, CMAS, and NAUI.
Today, Gary offers advanced-level NAUI courses for certified divers ready to refine their skills. From deep diving and navigation to specialty certifications, each course is taught with the same commitment and precision that’s defined his decades-long career.
